In a Role Playing Game (RPG) a player assumes the role of one or more characters in a fictional world. The genre is well known and loved over the course of decennia. Within the genre there are lots of different RPG's. Until now they are almost always set in a standard story arc. Where the player's character must beat a dangerous villain, in order to save the world. These games have a so-called linear story arc. What I would find very interesting is to make a game without said linear story
